Hello all,

Here is an explanation of the results of the Mason Competition. (As before, this first part is a repeat of classifications, etc. Scores are down below.)

First, Classification. The Mid-States Band Association (encompassing Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky) classifies bands by band size. Class A is 1-35 playing members. Class AA, 35-54; Class AAA, 55-70; AAAA, 71-100; OPEN, 101+.

November 1st (Monday) Davis 8th Grade Band Concert

Dear Parents,

As part of our on-going outreach to the 8th graders at Davis Middle School, the award-winning Scioto Marching Band will perform at the Davis Middle School Band Concert on November 1.

The concert will be on stage in the Marina Davis Performing Arts Center at DSHS. The middle school band will perform it's entire concert first, we will then clear the stage and close the concert. This is always a bonus for us and a boost for them. Please plan to attend and support the middle school concert.
