I'm Mr. Bolles. I teach Introductory Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry at Dublin Scioto High School. I was raised in Indiana (near Chicago), and went to college at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where I received a B.A. in Biology with a second major in Chemistry. I performed graduate studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in molecular virology and biochemistry, receiving a M.S degree in 1980. I have done professional research in the areas of tumor viruses, respiratory viruses, and the biochemistry of stress in crop plants. In 1989 I changed careers to teaching high school full-time. I taught in the Licking Valley, Ohio system for ten years and have been at Dublin since 1999. I also teach a course in Organic and Biochemistry for Allied Health students at Columbus State Community College.
